Texas A&M thread

I hope Dawson is watching the Texas game AND the Arkansas game.

I really am curious how Arkansas put up 42 points, 527 total yards ,and averaged 8.4ypc!

We need to figure out the run game and this would be a good time to do it.

Would also give OSU one more dimension to worry about.

Anybody watch this game and know how Arkansas, one of the worst teams in the SEC, was able to expose A&M like this?

Correct. Either understand or decipher vegas odds to identify gaps that he can bet.

He's trying to beat Vegas at their own game, essentially.

Bold strategy. I had a friend use all of his ramen noodle express picks in 2022 or 2023 and he went like +2 units on the full year.
I mean realistically that's probably better than you'd get super long term following any specific person while making a lot of bets. The house edge for most regular table game bets is what 1-2% if the player uses perfect strategy ... If in 2yrs of like 4+ picks per week you end positive ... From that perspective it's not all that bad lol.

The only real way you'd have to beat Vegas anything close to consistently is to have your model ready and place your bet immediately before any lines change I think. The only hope is to get your bet in while Vegas is max unknown. And even then if something BECOMES known post bet against you that can likely singlehandedly strip your wins. It's kinda like Ultimate Hold-Em. The way you reduce the house edge is by playing the 4x bets for everything the odds slightly favor you ... But you're gonna lose a lot. But if you just sit there waiting for after the flop for every bet (safer) you end up losing more money cause the most you can win is 2x instead of the 4x... Similar to sports betting. You have to bet earlier to maximize your edge. The more Vegas knows (and all the data comes in about the bets) the less likely you will be profitable.

They have a scrambling QB who went for like 80+ yards and 2 Tds.. Hard to duplicate with Beck unless you let Malachi rock lol..

Then I will continue to expect a ton of motion into QB runs and RPOs that all make our LBs hate life. May they play their best game ever.
He is also gunna be playing with house money with zero repercussions given he’s already got a HC job at his Alma mater.

I’d expect him to come out even more aggressive/attacking than he may normally call plays. I’d bet they are going to fully air it out and run Reed. They know their RB unit isn’t all that impressive especially if Moss is limited or out. And we have a good run D. May as well just fully test our Pass Coverage and ability to catch Reed.

Mario asked about Keionte and if he thinks he has a chance to play just now “I do. And in fact I feel strongly about it”

Reading the ag boards they cannot get past our SMU/ Louisville games

They fail to realize they escaped auburn, USCe, and arky…. They are very beatable and I hope their team comes out with false bravado like we are JMU or Tulane.
TexAgs forum is straight delusional from what I’ve seen the past week and most of them appear to watch no football outside of TAMU and the SEC.

Every thread there ends up with “heueheuhe ACC heueheuhe they lost to SMU they won’t be able to handle 100K people in the stadium heieheueheh SEC

One guy even said that our team would be shocked/surprised once they see what athletes TAMU has, as if we are a g5 team

We legit just played them two years ago and whipped them…

I hope their coaching staff and players have that same delusion… and maybe they do with comments about “little guy” Toney and Bain being not a problem is kinda telling that they aren’t even being cordial
