Texas A&M "Midnight Yell" Before Appalachian State

I ran into one of their super fan alumni in st. Augustine once. Got her number and were supposed to hang out that weekend. I couldn't believe the weird out nowhere text I got from her later that evening. Some crap about a case about a murder in her family had been brought back open and she would be unavailable. It was long, like 4 different texts just out of the blue. I think I only responded back with one quick text but long story short...

Pretty sure she's the killer.
So, you got stood up by Aileen Wournos?

I attended Midnight Yell with my boys last time we played them. Sure, they will say a few annoying and innappropriate comments, but I enjoyed myself (I am a sucker for tradition). When they introduced the school president and noted that she was formerly at FIU I chuckled. She did her best at trying to poke fun at Miami, but failed miserably. I knew right then we were going to win the next day.
I'm a big fan of tradition too. Why anyone would make fun of TA&M traditions/cadets is beyond me. Some people should show some class.

That stadium had zero energy from the jump Saturday. For 100K fans that place was pretty dull.

I assume things will be different with Miami rolling in...but man if we could throw an early haymaker and get 1-2 quick stops that place will be a library.
8:00 pm local start. thats a lot of drunk Texans.

If your tradition is cosplaying the military, despite looking like a bunch of idiots on Halloween, people are going to make fun of you. TAMU brings it upon themselves, because they do stupid crap. Whether it's building a scoreboard for dead dogs, whooping anywhere, or holding these dumb *** yell practices, it's almost like they enjoy being the butt of jokes.

Now everyone is making fun of them for having this video taken down. Is any school doing less with more?

“Computer, simulate a militarized football cult. Excellent. Now, simulate their religious ceremonies after 40 years of isolation and failure. Perfect.“
That’s actually really close to the truth. Really close, and perfectly explanatory to how their campus tradition works.

Oh, and do not step on the grass.
