Why can't they kick extra points in overtime, what's the rationale for that
They have go for 2 after the 2nd OT iirc.

Shades of Miami v OSU there.
The PIUhhh, what?
It's absolutely crazy to me how so many teams across the country can scheme guys wide, and I mean wide, open. Against really good defenders and defensive coordinators, mind you. Yet, somehow, our offensive guys look like they're playing with Mark D'Onofrio's shackles.
Please, man. Now is not the time for your Coach Richt homerism. Not inclined to go into an Xs and Os discussion with you on what's plainly obvious to anyone who's watched and re-watched the plays this season. We can do that on Roman or Lance's threads.Actually our QBs aren't making the right read most of the time and notice the pocket these other teams have. But more importantly, scheme aside, our pitch and catch game is hot garbage compared to these teams'. How can you even talk about scheme when we can't throw and catch half the time?
Oh yeah these late flags/calls are coming from Buffalo Wild WingsShades of Miami v OSU there.

Nothing wrong with blaming Richt, but we need to start with catching the ball, friend. And people need to look at JT Daniels or Lawrence and realize we don't have that on the OL or at QB; way more to talk about before "Xs and Os".

probably because it's more difficult to make a 2-pt conversion than to kick it. savvy ?Why can't they kick extra points in overtime, what's the rationale for that
