Surtain is VERY talented that's what people should not be arguing... it's not because of his name he is a talented player with great measurables... the argument certainly can be made that there isn't much of a gap between the two players(surtain and Campbell) though

Campbell and Surtain are almost identical athletically but if you ever have watched AH play then you know Campbell usually outplays him. To me, Campbell is the 5* and Surtain is the high 4*

Jobe is only 5'11.5 178lbs and his coach said he sees him as a 215 pound safety. Dont think that will happen as he is not as big as people made him out to be.

Can anyone explain why Campbell, who is seen by most on here as the better prospect, but also outperforms Surtain at these events is ranked lower than Surtain? Or, on the contrary, what is it that has Surtain ranked so high? Something doesn't add up.

His name...

LOL the hate for him and Cook on this site is hilarious. Why weren't Deion Sanders, Derrick Brooks, Ray Lewis, Mike Irvin, etc kid highly rated?

If he committed here you guys would be on their nuts just like most here were on Jordan Scarlett. He went from soft to Marshawn Lynch clone after committed to soft again.

lmao. They don't call him a zone corner for nothing. Dude is the second coming of Larry Brown. Stop trolling like your typical FSU nerd and just admit it.

Abdullah has wheels, Campbell is just extremely gifted... Also Oladele's numbers are off the charts for a dude his size

For the record, I've stated since August of last year that I felt Surtain was overrated & is not the #1 ranked CB in Florida.

Yall know me, I'm not downplaying him just because he's not coming to Miami, I've seen him play live & have never felt he was this Elite CB that's the undisputed best in nation.

Imo, Samuel is the best pure cover corner in Florida, regardless of whether he comes to Miami or not & to me, Tyson Campbell is the best CB on AH.

Surtain is a really good player, he's no doubt top 5 among the 2018 DB's, but I don't think he's as good as he is rated.

Imho, the best CB in the nation is Anthony Cook from Lamar Texas, he's not coming to Miami either, but I think he's a true Elite Ballhawk lockdown CB, with 10INT's on his career despite missing part of his Junior year with an injury.

Surtain Jr only has 4INT's for his career... So does Al Blades Jr.

I could be wrong, but I'm sorry, I don't see the #1 ranked CB in the nation when I watch Surtain Jr play, I see a really good CB/S who if he was named Patrick Sartin Jr would be a 4-star & not as highly touted.

Shut up Dude. Geo, LCE, and I have all said Surtain isn't even the best corner on the team and the best one(that would be Tyson Campbell) are basically the same kind of athlete and he regularly out-performs him. No hate to the kid, everyone knows he has talent but he's overrated.

Few things that jump out at me... DJ Ivey 4.2 shuttle and 35.8 vertical.

Kayode Oladele's numbers are ridiculous. Miami will continue to recruit him.

Dominick Watt is a grown man.

Sitkowski already 6-6 and he's not even 17.

Pete, do you think James Head Jr will get an offer from Kool?

Him is being a Ridge kid, should make him a lock if he does get one right?
