This cat Smith out of the Philly burbs looks like the truth. Mean, strong, tough and physical RT. I like his tape much better than Big Zesty. He committed to LSU in June. We have not yet offered. He could be a flip candidate. Have to assume the U is way cooler than Louisiana in Philly. Why do you say he could be a flip candidate? I mean, technically any recruit is, but is there something in particular?

Is this actually a possibility or is this more of the “I want to wish this into existence” sort of thing??

No reason in particular. Just the guy looks like a beast, and we have already stuffed Lane into a locker. You have to also think the geography favors us. And with NIL, Louisiana State is poor. We can probably win the bidding war. Especially if DJ is just stringing us along. Also, we can use a beast RT after we got Elko Erad
 
We’ve reached the point where we make posts about top prospects we’ve never been associated with that are committed to other teams. I respect it.


All jokes aside, very good prospect. I do think OL is the one position where we could see a “surprise” +1 knowing this staff and how they operate. JMO.
 
LSU gonna pay millions from here to signing day to get a class.Talking about paying 2M for a wr and 2.5-3M for an edge rusher. They have 45-50M put aside for recruiting and plan to spend every penny and more to make this a top class. Watch for aTM type of signings in the next 30 days or so..
