They were trending down in Fulmer's last few years. Ever since they canned his ***, they've been on an even steeper downward spiral. They're not enamored with Pruitt.

They can’t get a coach.

Coaches make dynasties.

Great a.d.’s make multiple dynasties.

All programs rise and fall on the head coach hire. Bama, Oklahoma, USC, Ohio State, etc, etc, etc.

Makes what we did in the 80s-early 90s even more historic. Three great head coaches and four national titles in eight years. No one has ever done anything close, at least not in the modern era.

They lost to Georgia State and BYU. The only SEC team they've played so far this year is the one we've played, and we didn't look nearly as pathetic.

What’s your point other than to quibble like a chick? Is the fall of both UT and UM relegated only to the first 4 games of this season? No. Both have been in the toilet for nearly 20 years. Are you going to sit there like a cranky quibbling woman and claim that UT has it easier playing in the SEC than we do in the lousy ACC?

And in case you didn’t see it, we were just in a dog fight with one of the worst teams in FBS football last week. We needed a do over on a 20 yard FG on a weak penalty to avoid losing on a late FG. BYU would smash that UM team. Georgia State is better than CMU.
