I'm formerly Gatah Hator and I'll leave it at that. I have to admit Dan Mullin is putting on an offensive clinic. They run sets plays based on the opponent. They don't run the same plays opponents see on film every Saturday. The diversity of their plays is impressive to a former OC/OL coach like myself.

and I bet both teams regret those picks. Hockenson has done **** and that is a terrible ran franchise.
Ebron is a bum... all them **** drop passes.

Here's my tinfoil hat theory- if Meyer turns down the Texas job, things are going to start breaking bad for UF. Mullen is supposedly their next primary candidate. I think Texas will be willing to double his salary. UF can't possibly match. Ideally, Meyer turns down the job this week and rumor mill gets started about Mullen, it distracts the team and they lose to LSU, then blown out by Bama. I dont know if they still get the OB game if that happens, but if so, a demoralized UF gets flattened by Miami, and their class falls apart because UF doesn't have a HC.

This is so insane, I will now have to monitor the situation.

I don't think Meyer to TX really has much effect on Miami. Except that it might push HC and assistant salaries into an ever more ridiculous stratosphere.

Mullen to TX would shock me, but money changes everything.

I think if Meyer turns down Texas, it will cause a big domino effect. UF is one of the better coaching jobs in CFB, so could see another well known coach go there. If I could pick a HC for them (that benefits the Canes the most), I'd pick Kiffin (assuming that Taggart is out of the running :) )

Texas is still haunted by the memory of turning down Saban back in 2012 when he was asking about the job because they decided to be loyal to Mack Brown even though it was starting to become clear that he'd lost his mojo. I don't think they make the mistake of sticking with a coach too long again and Herman is gone.

Would be insane to put a 2 loss UF team in over a 1 loss A&M team that beat UF. Fingers crossed for Clemson getting revenge for all the children who have been been molested by priests and they put an unholy beatdown on ND.

Agree... I know lots of UF fans that think even if they lose a close one to Bama they are in lol

Huh? Hockenson is 3rd behind Travis Kelce and Darren Waller in receiving yards for TEs. He's having a great year. Ebron has regressed but is still a serviceable weapon. This still doesn't dismiss the fact that there is a high chance that Pitts goes top 15.

If ND isn't in the playoff then we're not going to the Orange Bowl. I hope Notre Dame plays them close but gets the #4 spot so they have to play Bama.

And King would look pretty good against their DBs. They'd be favored but we'd beat them some of the time in 10 matchups.
