Would they be where they are right now with manny Diaz as the head coach? Probably not and that’s an indictment for Miami.

**** as bad as Golden was MD is worse. Alot of the issues have been recruiting...hiring friends....not being able to fire friends.....and inside the upper tier of the admin. We just arent equipped from top to bottom to be elite. **** Golden is with the Lions with a promising staff that looks like they know what they r doing

Yep.

There are two questions people need to think about. Not directed at you, k9. First, why many folks continue to delude themselves as to the capabilities of Diaz as a HC. I get that people started out with hope. Hope is fine. It’s not logical, it’s emotional. When what you see with your own eyes disproves your hope, you need to process reality, not lie to yourself about it.

Second, and more troubling - why this Admin cannot make rational decisions regarding Hc at Miami, and instead thinks like a fan not a professional decision-maker. No good answers there. Five bad hires in a row. Terrible hires, actually. There is close to a zero percent chance that is bad luck.

This program is surrounded by folks who think wearing the U makes someone special. It would help if folks started thinking about that U more as a burden to live up to than as proof of anything. The truth is it’s special because of what previous guys did. Themselves. Individually and as a team. It doesn’t confer anything onto anyone who wears it other than big shoes to fill.

Golden spent his entire tenure recruiting against the Shapiro scandal and inherited an awful team. Diaz simply doesn't know the basics of being a head coach.

AG couldnt hire a d cord too that destroyed him and he recruited bad IMO but way better then Diaz

Just go back to that 10 hour search period, I mean, we all got our hopes up for certain names and pipe dreams, but who else would've even considered Manny Diaz of Temple of Doom, for their job?

There are really only a few possibilities, and ‘bad luck’ isn’t one of them.

One is our Admin really wants to win, but is exceptionally bad at how to go about it.

The second is our Admin doesn’t want a serious program, and is trying to find cuck capons who will seem like good choices to overly optimistic fans who always buy into the hopeful narrative anyhow.

We were handed a winnjng lottery ticket and managed to fvck it up. How often do you get to change coaches without having to pay a buyout.
Ritch gave us a gift and James and the feminist SJW warrior search committee took a **** on it.

I recognize it's a vastly different competition level but they are 5-1. They have to be loving this.
