Tee Martin

People could point to 2018 all they won’t but that’s what happens when you lose as much as usc lost in Sam darnold and Ronald Jones. After the posting the #13 offense and #20 offense in the country in 2016 and 2017 usc didn’t have as good as results in 2018 but you know who else had a bad year after losing a generational qb? Bobby petrino when he lost Lamar jackson and I absolutely Think he’s one of the best playcallers in college football. It happens
Brock we could hire f-ucking jOn as our OC and you would somehow hype it up. Stop blindly liking everything the coaching staff does here. LOL @ Petrino being one of the best playcallers in CFB.

By all accounts, Tee Martin sought out the Miami job. He definitely was not hurting for offers, so the fact that Miami is his preference (and probably his wife's as well) speaks volumes and should not be discounted.

Of course, wanting something means nothing if you aren't qualified or don't get the job done. He's really no different than Coley in terms of scheme.

I would argue that Coley is probably a better OC than Tee Martin.

Funny how that works once Sam Darnold is no longer his QB.
The thing is, when he was stripped of play calling by Clay, the offense still sucked, which usually isn't the case when the HC takes over like that. You also gotta remember that they also fired their OL coach earlier in the season bc of how much they sucked AND their starting QB was injured. He may not be a great play caller, but last season was an aberration.

Still not 100 % sold on him as the lone playcaller tho.

James spends 10 minutes seeking a new HC, then pays him a ridiculously high salary for a first time HC, and we spend weeks seeking a new OC only to end up with option #5. If this isn't the sign of a dysfunctional program, I don't know what is. James should have been fired years ago.

Applewhite was just fired, fedora was just fired yet we were going after them.... Martin only called played through the half of the season this year. This is a lazy take, petrino was fired you wouldn’t hire him?

Those are not lateral moves brock, read my post again. Applewhite, Fedora, Petrino all would be downgrading in position to prove themselves again. Tee Martin is getting the wheels to a better offensive roster in Miami.

Ask Kliff Kingsbury about life without Patrick Mahomes. Ask Jimbo Fisher about life without Jameis Winston. Ask Gene chizik and Gus Malzahn about life without Cam Newton. Ask Larry Fedora about life without Mitchell trubisky, ask.....
