Ted Hendricks Reincarnated?

Given our **** depth at DE, I think we need him there. Neither spot has much depth. Hopefully Jordan and Mallory come ready to play.
You watch that film and get to the offensive hi lights and look at the guys we have in spring its natural to ask that question, but I guarantee the defensive coaches not gonna give him up! Lol..

haha obviously its way early and it all depends on the work he puts in. I've had multiple players tell me he's been standing out nearly every single practice and is ahead of where Joe Jackson and Garvin were when they first arrived. The onus is on him but he's got a body and athleticism that is rare
I knew He would be really good but not this early on.... wow that says alot

Last September I spoke with a cousin who lives in Louisville and whose old HS (I think Trinity HS) hosted
Champagnat HS.
They destroyed Champagnat but I rememer cuz telling me they had a few specimens on that team but
they were on a squad that was poorly coached.
I have to think he was referring to this young man.

True freshman Greg Rousseau, in his college scrimmage debut, led or tied for the team lead in tackles (seven), tackles for loss (five) and sacks (four).

“We think we stole one,” Richt said of Rousseau, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound former three-star recruit from a small local school, Hialeah-Champagnat. “He’s tall, he’s got long arms, he’s athletic, he’s coachable, he’s teachable.”

Ted was a classmate of mine at the U. He registered 327 tackles in his colllege career and was a 3 time all-american (2 first team and 1 second team).
He was a phenomenal player. The kind that comes around only once in a lifetime. Maybe I'll get to see the second.

It was said that nearly 100 of his tackles were sacks, but they didn’t keep sack stats back then. Pretty sure it was our coach that threw the 100 number out there. Ted was indeed a once in a lifetime talent.

I hate when people try to move players (especially ones who haven't had a chance at their first position yet), but maybe he could play a little TE?

Speaking of Ted Hendricks, I have to tell the story of when he flew on an airplane next to someone very close to me.

Can’t do it justice now but will tell one day.

Very nice polite guy and a gentleman. It was a commuter plane so obviously he was twisted up like a pretzel, but he’s actually a great guy. Very personable.

We are "The U," we didnt steal anyone. If UCF or USF got him, then they stole one

He’s saying that in the essence that it wasn’t much of a fight recruiting wise as it would have been had he been at a school like American heritage or one of the other big time schools

Most shocking thing about him is his physicality. He packs some punch for a skinny kid who's still supposed to be in high school.
