Rumor Ted Hendricks passed away, but apparently recovered.

I hate when people do this crap, what's the point of lying about someone's death? I usually double check myself and didn't because I seen it in a Facebook feed and when I seen this post assumed it was true but you're right, I am not seeing any confirmation yet.
Didn’t check bc it was on FB?

I got to toss a football with him when I was 14 year's old and I remember him hobbling on his surgically repaired knees with deep scars on them.
He had a crazy sounding deep voice, you could see he was still a badass even in his 40s.
He had just walked out of a bar near Miami Springs and asked me to throw the ball to him, I remember recognizing him right away and was so excited at that moment that this legend wanted to play catch. I actually overthrew him because he was so **** tall I put too much on it lol.
That was 40 year's ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. RIP Ted
Coulda been a 3x All American at TE as well. 6'7 and had great hands. Freshmen were ineligible to play back then so Freshman teams played each other. Ted terrorized the Gator Frosh as a WR.

Teams threw the ball so little in those days, he made the right choice to play DE. He and future Oakland Raider great Tony Cline made up perhaps UM's best pair of DE's ever.
