Lobby for what? Diaz knows what his best position was but they rather have the striker on the field soo

There’s a common misconception that if you’re not pressing in man coverage, you’re not being aggressive. And that donofrio just played zone all the time and that’s why the defense sucked.

Today you can’t just line up man to man every down because 1. It’s easy to spot and counter and 2. Running quarterbacks will take your lunch if your DBs are chasing receivers all over the field. You have to mix up coverages and show offenses as many looks as possible.

Also. No D played a ton of man coverage but it’s worthless if you never get pressure. Even Deion Sanders can only cover someone for so long

So did Blades. There shouldn’t be no jobs taking until earned in the Spring then Fall.

blades was miamis most consistent corner this year and was good in most games on the season outside of a few. He was targeted 41 times yet only gave up 18 receptions for 240 yards and didn’t allow a touchdown. Obviously need to improve on tackling but that will come

He looked terrible in games just like Ivey who had a multi pick game. Our CB play sucked this season, so being the best really wasn’t saying much.

Looked terrible like ivey is a gross exaggeration, he was pretty **** solid in most games outside of like 1-2

Blades can definitely be one of the top CBs in the acc...I'm also excited to see if Williams can take the next step.....we just need Ivey to be a quality backup...Couch is going to be a dog once he adds ( if not already) more strength....
