Al blades is fine at one of the cb spots. Feel pretty comfortable in saying couch will be the nickel corner. I want Christian Williams to push or possibly take the other cb job from ivey(who looked bad in some games for sure but had a few good games last year as well)

Blades looks solid to me. I also don’t think Ivey is as bad as people acted last year. He got outhustled for a lot of balls he was in position for. He can toughen up there.

I'm not sure why our insiders haven't hyped him up more, and whether Ivey actually plays better during practice. It's clear that Blades is better during games, they're on entirely different levels. He's going to be our #1 corner next year, so he'll need to step up even more. Finding our 2nd corner is going to be the bigger challenge.

Nah, Ivey was bad... Very very bad.

He got beat on a ton plays where if the QB just made a good throw would've been a TD.

He's slow & has bad feet, no recovery speed at all, he was a huge liability in coverage.

I think Ivey is going to be good this year. He has good technique and works hard. He lost the jump balls he was in position for. I like the few CBs we have on the roster... very few
