His teammates seem to be comfortable and confident with JW. Great f'n news.
Side note, Dan Enos is all business, no BS. Clip translation "Did you not f'in hear me, I answered your question already."
Good stuff! Miami finally has a legitimate offense for first time in nearly 10 years probably. This should be fun to watch under Coach Enos and Williams.
Banda’s insight was the difference in the QB competition (not at all insinuating that he made the decision). Very good points from him and I’m glad other coaches were probably welcomed to give feedback from their vantage point on the competition.
Banda's insight there is solid. The ability to throw the ball at different speeds and trajectories implies anticipation by the QB. Banda's mention of JW's ability to do it on the run adds an additional element. Good stuff.
Now that he’s won the job, his confidence is going to be at an all time high. He’s the man now. No more looking over his shoulder. When u play confident your game rises to a whole new level. Expect him to look twice as good as he already has shown.
From Coach Feeley in an interview with Manny Navarro at The Athletic:
Feeley said Williams, though, has “a really good head on his shoulders.”
“He’s a guy that comes in, wants to have a plan, wants to have structure, wants to talk about maybe altering the plan. ‘Hey, coach, how do we do this, this and this? I want to get better, whatever,’” Feeley said. “He’s done that a few times.”
