If you LOVE the program the way all of us do. If you CARE for the program the way all of us do. If you want WHAT'S BEST for the program the way all of us do.

How can you NOT root for whatever needs to happen, to happen and happen quickly...so we can STOP having wait for something happen.

I remember all the fights on Grassy when people like me were openly rooting for USF during Randy's last year......things are not going to "magically" happen. Golden isn't just going to get fired. We are dealing with one of the worst administrations in all of college football, their hand needs to be forced otherwise they are content to mire in mediocrity and give this loser another year.

Go Arkansas State. I'll say it loud and proud while donning my UM gear. It's what's best for the program going forward. The on-the-field damage is already done.

I understand that, it's just that I have been a rabid fan for well almost 40 yrs and its not physically possible for me to root against my Canes. I hate Golden and want him gone as bad as anyone, but I can't root against kids like Duke and DP.

Listen, I despise Golden and his staff as much as anyone, but I'll be damned if I would ever root against MY team. If anything, I'm rooting for this jerk to finally figure things out and get it done. I'm tired of seeing us lose and no, I don't want to see another rebuild here. We're at the cusp of being a complete and consistent national power w/ some tweakings to the coordinator positions. But it's asinine to root against the Canes for ONE GUY. We all know Duke and TH3 are out of here after this year so at the veryleast thing we ALL should do is root for these boys that helped put UM back in the ears of SoFla recruits to go out w/ a bang, not up in flames.

My guess is he will be fired after the last game. The decision will probably be made after we are eliminated from winning the coastal. Once that's official my guess is that the powers that be will have made their decision but won't act on it til the season ends.

And while DMoney is here, what are you hearing on Howard and Duke with regards to the staff? Heard there's some real friction brewing.

Howard and Duke are smart, aware guys who are 100% football. When something isn't right, they know.

Golden is at risk of losing the team, and some of the damage is already done. That is what will get him fired, not any banner. He needs to beat both Nebraska and Duke to keep any measure of respect in the locker room, IMO.

Confirmed somewhat by DMoney yesterday, and now this morning, WQAM's Joe Rose reports Golden has serious problems in the locker room largely because of two factors: coaching strategy and the selection of the QB.


It sounds as if this whole season could unravel at any moment. One more bad loss and Golden might lose the team.

Golden is a good coach....for an Ivy League or service academy program. That's all he will ever be. Maybe this is what Dr. Donna wants, but it's not gonna fly at Miami, especially with the fans. If something isn't done soon, we will never have a true Div. 1 program. It's just that simple.

Am predicting now that we lose to Arky State. These kids are fed up. Some of the upperclassmen should have a long talk with both James and Shalala. the kids know they should be competitive in this bourbon and branch water league if nothing else. Losing to the Dukes and UVAs of this world should never happen at Miami.

Please stop it, nobody quit. The Defense was gassed from being on the field for 2/3 of the game and the offense drove down the field in garbage time into the red zone on the last possession.

I hate Golden and Dorito as much as the next guy but i have no choice but to keep rooting for the Canes to win. I could never root for the team to lose to see a coarching change. Only mopes do that.
