I'm guessing that turnover margin was a little better a week ago.

These are the rankings against FBS opponents. If we did just P5 opponents, numbers are a little worse.

Scoring Offense: 94th
Yards Per Play: 83rd
Yards Per Game: 42nd
3rd Down Conversion %: 60th
Red Zone Scoring TDs & FGs %: 66th
Passing Yards Per Game: 11th
Yards Per Pass Attempt: 72nd
Sacked Per Game: 104th
Rushing Yards Per Game: 116th
Yards Per Rush Attempt: 119th

The correct way to do this is to look at FBS vs FBS games only.

When you do that, Miami is:

94th in the country in scoring offense
82nd in the country in offensive yards per play
105th in the country in red zone TD %
114th in the country in turnover margin
123rd in the country in scrimmage plays over 40+ yards
119th in the country in rushing yards per attempt
104th in the country in sacks allowed per game

About as bad as it gets

Hopefully, the floor has been hit.

The easiest way to start picking yourself up is "Turnovers".

Turn that stat around first and you are at least on one knee again.

Yep! Our padding was greater than other teams padding :)

In our last 350 rushing attempts vs FBS - our longest run is 25 yds

In our 204 rushing attempts vs FBS this year - our longest run is 20 yds. And it's our only 20 yd run.

A 40+ yd run feels impossible at this point
We have one play over 40 yards yet alone run. The triple option is a more explosive offense. I'm pretty sure Colbie last weekend was the first player to break a tackle this season.

X & Knighton have 40+ yd catches too - so 3 total (still not good)

Parrish/Knighton/Thad have 1 40+ yd run in their entire career (550 carries). And it was exactly 40 yds by Knighton.

Lucious Stanley is our most explosive RB

Yeah, this season, we have 1 run of 20+ yards. One.

We are 130th out of 131st in that category. Only Temple has less, which is zero, obviously. Every single other team in the country has at least 2. Ole Miss (cue the Lane posts) leads the country with 21. FSU has 15. The gator has 10.

And if you want to look at 30+ yard runs, we are tied for DFL in the country with 10 other teams, with zero such runs on the season.
