With a pathetic schedule, we finish #76 in total defense. The only thing that kept us afloat defensively, and the only difference from last year, was the turnover margin.

And we play some of THE WORST offenses in CFB.
In fact the avg offense we played ranked 83rd in total offense.

The weak-minded will try to tell us "see it's improvement."

can you give us our final rankings for last year?

worse.....

its now about who we played...

All these so called fans wanted us to take the UF or OSU route in easy schedules yet when this year first in many they *****...9-3...

It was.....

Not when you factor in a weaker schedule

Not our fault other teams sucked...really

9-3

Huh? It's our fault our defense still sucked, but sucked a little less against weaker teams. So you just look at the raw number and say you're impressed because we improved from 112 or 114 or whatever to 76? Not taking into account that we played FAU, Savannah State, UF (4-8), USF? Some of the worst OOC games we've ever played, and then one of the weakest ACC slates we've ever played. You don't take that into account as for why the final defensive numbers went from pathetic to slightly less pathetic?

Last year we played Bethune Cookman , South Florida and lost games to Virginia and North Carolina. So there has been improvement.

UNC was better last season than this season. UVA was better last season than this season. Heck, even USF was better last season than this season. Bethune-Cookman was markedly better than Savannah State, which wasn't even a real football team. Last season we also played a BCS Bowl team in K-State, not a 4-8 Florida. We played Notre Dame who went to the BCS title game, not FAU.

Most don't have a problem with the weaker OOC schedule. We're just giving you the facts on why there are improvements in those #s.
If you look at JUST the ACC from 2012 & 2013 it's either unchanged or worse.

WhatTheHe!! did an analysis already.

I think you're trolling though

Run defense is garbage. Please oh please let a miracle occur for our DTs.

Who would've thought that our Redzone Defense would be more effective than our Redzone Offense...

Say what you want about our D but Morris was horrible when it mattered the most, 3rd down conversions and Redzone!

Anybody coming in here to put a positive spin on this should be banned on sight.

Last year in red.

IMO disappointing on both sides. Obviously the defense doesn't need an explanation. However, we returned everyone on offense and we didn't see an improvement.

Red zone and 3rd down efficiency under two different coordinators. Common denominator is the same QB making the same bad decisions. Hopefully a new QB next year will be better at taking what the D gives us.
