It appears that our team has developed confidence and is on a roll. I also wonder how the team feels about Diaz as a man, as a coach, and as a figure. Team comments indicate they are tired of hearing the complaints which point to forums like here. Does anyone know players and if there is solidarity within the team for Manny. I'd hate to see our current attitude destroyed as this is the best I've seen unity wise in a very long time.
There is no way that Blake has inspired anyone so in regards to adjustments Blake is responsible for Football, Basketball, Baseball and all the other sports. The fact that all of them have declined shows he is not fit for guiding improvements, he certainly is not a Sam Jankovich our best ever AD. In that vein if the cohesiveness we see currently is a factor driven by this staff I'd hate to see it damaged. As I said, it has been a long time since I felt this energized by what I see from these very young Hurricanes.

I think there's probably some truth to what you're asking, @fraggle. I think the team came together due in part to the negativity surrounding Manny and have bonded together.

I also think the team lost their true leader when D'Eriq King went down. TVD calling his shot against NC State then backing it up has probably done more for team morale and cohesiveness than anyone realizes.
