I'm proud of him, I was a huge fan of his going back to last year at PBG, even when people were skeptical saying he was just an inbox Safety I was high on this kid's ability.

Was saying long before the season even started, his intelligence & Football IQ is impossible to keep off the field, smart kids in the classroom who are also great Football players always make their way on the field, especially in Diaz's Defense.

AC5 has come on later in the season & is still developing as a TF, but I honestly believe he's going to be a big playmaker for us over the next 4 years.

Him and Derrick Smith effectively removed Knowles from the rotation

I might be wrong, but I think he's the first TF to be named Captain for a game.

I'm not sure if Bandy or Donaldson have yet, but Ima double check right now.

Props to Amari Carter. Clearly he's the special teams captain for the game. Was Travis Homer ever named a captain in a similar way last season?

I love the way this kid has played so far. He's the perfect fit for the hybrid LB/S spot in a 4-2-5. Nimble enough to cover slot guys man to man but stout enough to take on blockers in run defense.

With the talent at DB we have coming in this next recruiting cycle along with Carter and Smith.....really have to think we will be running more 4-2-5/nickle play next year.

I know that, Homer has also gotten Captain multiple times this season mad props to him.

I wasn't talking about ever, I just meant this season, AC5 is the first TF this season to be named Captain.
