Joel Davila, his son Jemel, was nice at Miami High. A little older than me but during HS days...
 
Us not signing anyone since Lebron has announced his decision makes it pretty clear we are all-in on Klay & he will be our starting 2-guard.

We have three spots left and we still need a true center. Hopefully we get Nick Richards who is the best available and went to Kentucky right after Bam left.

All that smoke about Derozan-Miami seems to be largely 🐂 💩

Not getting LeBron helps us in the pursuit of Klay because we have now can offer Klay about 5.5 to 7 million which saves Dallas more money on their buyout. That’s more than double the vet minimum. Zero chance he will be on Dallas to start the season. Doesn’t make sense to buyout/waive anyone else on their roster.

Could see us adding Klay, Brad Beal then keeping the 15th spot open for a center, Klay, Nick Richards and keeping the 15th spot open, or just going with our 15 good to go with Klay, Brad Beal, and Nick Richards/Bismack Biyombio athletic center type to complete the squad……. I could also see us grabbing Ben Simmons as a rm protecting switch everything 5 tbh; which is a move that has way more upside than Richards or Biyombio.

Ngl i forgot all about him; personally I’d take Simmons as the upside is higher and he playmake better but Kai jones def fits what riley described for what he was looking for

For the Heat he would be a shot blocker, rim running back up Center. For example would much rather him than the 7footer from Michigan they got on the 2 way.

There isnt much Bigs that can run n jump with Kai...go grab a few boards and get a few dunks a game while giving Bam a breather andf switching everything on defense.

Agreed Kai is much better than Goldin, especially for the 2-way. Kai is ineligible to be on that 2-way contract because he has 4 years of service in the league, even if he didn’t play for the 76ers, he was on the roster during the regular season so it still counts (23-24 season).

Hopefully he gets another shot the way he is showing out in international play.

I def think the heat are going to go high upside for whichever big they sign after they get shooters on the team

i agree with you fully.

Ready to see how the heat finisgh out this roster./...next year i believe they will be a real player
 
I don’t know what happened, but a Bahamas news outlet posted a video of Jai Lucas and LJ Rose talking about the team & working out down there; but when i tried to share the video it was deleted
