TD Moton

2 Moton's on the DL? If he's visiting there has to be at least a slim chance. Why waste the money to have a kid that has no chance?

Agreed.

At this point I would have no issue taking an Alabama cast off. At some point this kid was good enough for Bama to accept his commitment. Kid has to have some kind of game.

TD Moton has a relationship with Ed Orgeron I would not be not be surprised in seeing LSU re-evaluate looking at Moton even as a night before NSD offer. An this could would flip in a heart beat, leaving UM high an dry. At this point Jethro and staff are scrambling for almost anything if they are using UM's limited number of official visits to bring this kid in. But again lets see what he has say and how looks when he arrives.

Here is an old interview with him from last spring

DT? What is a DT?

In all seriousness though apparently he decommitted 'cause of grade concerns????

He could be this year's Derrick Griffin.
Nah clarington got that on luck

How? he isn't signing with us.

We'll see if he qualifies at Texas.... Recruiting sites played it as that he lost interest. No, Miami stopped recruiting him.

He said Miami stopped talking to him in his video with Manny

Its that time of year, you can't sign everybody so the big boys have to throw the little fish back to make room in the cooler. Not even the big boys we've been making room in our cooler as well with our share of de-commits lately. If he's good we could definitely use him.

That's my issue though. He had no business having a Miami hat on the table at the army game.

Booker T coaches got it right putting him on the d-line and he was ****ed.

All the more reason Miami needs to get on the phone with 2015 NT Javier Edwards ( from Aldine, Tx) and bring him in for a visit, before he commits to KSU.

I was touting this guy all last spring. But he will never get passed UM's admissions he has been to 3 schools in 4 years which caused him to be ineligible for his a few games his Senior year and miss his entire Junior year.

Unfortunately Moton is most likely a head case which is unfortunate because he is a very talented DT.

Now if sitting out his Senior year has given him the walk up call he needed, then he could worth the high risk, because he bring high reward. But I would take Norton ahead of Moton.

Go Canes

Headcase or not, I'd take him.

Well now UM doesn't have to worry about that, he committed to Miss St an they can get anyone admitted given that states pool of student applicants based on the states historic overall illiteracy rate.

http://247wallst.com/special-report/2014/02/07/states-where-children-are-struggling-the-most-to-read/3/

1. Mississippi
> Pct. 4th grade students below reading proficiency: 79% (tied-the highest)
> Pct. not proficient – low-income: 85% (tied-the highest)
> Pct. not proficient – eighth grade: 36% (the highest)
> 2011 spending per pupil: $7,928 (5th lowest)

Mississippi is the poorest state in the nation by a number of measures. The state’s median household income was just $37,095 in 2012, while more than 24% of residents lived below the poverty line.In 2012 Mississippi residents were more likely to lack access to basic needs than Americans in any other state. The large population of economically disadvantaged residents has likely contributed to the state’s low reading proficiency rates. As of 2013, 79% of fourth graders were not proficient readers, tied for the highest percentage in the nation. Last year 85% of fourth grade students from lower-income families were lacked proficiency in reading, tied for the worst in the nation. However, higher-income students also did not score well either — 58% were not strong readers. That same year, 36% of eighth graders were still not proficient readers, more than any other state and well above the 23% of eighth graders nationwide.
