Saban took a 6-7 team and went 7-6 his first year with a loss at home to Louisiana Monroe

Every situation is different and some teams face more injury obstacles but there’s no question he under performed this year

Did you not read his last sentence or any of his previous posts? Of course he's blasting Mario.

Mario went 10-2 and made the P12CG.
Pac 12 is a much better conference this year.

Last year: 7th in power rankings, 16-20 non conference (44%)
This year: 2nd in power rankings, 26-10 non conference (72%)

Right, except that Oregon's blowout loss wasn't against a Pac-12 team.

he didnt get blown out any games. they were all one possession i think. how you lose matters so STOP with the saban stuff.

Riley wasn’t fired at OU
Kelly wasn’t fired at ND

I don’t know of the rest but I am not going to look. But the coaches who took over for Riley and ND, shame on them, it kind of shows how awesome Riley and Kelly are.
OP never mentioned whether a coach was fired. He cherry picked teams that did better.

But it does make a statement about how to keep a successful team rolling.

2021: Oregon 35 #3 Ohio State 28
2022: #3 Georgia 49 Oregon 3

"See how much better they got!!!"

And again, OP is comparing teams that fired their coaches, not teams where the coach voluntarily left. Please tell me YOU knew this.

So Mario Cristobal left a program that had no internal problems, won 10 games, and made the conference championship game.

Spell this out for me. Im not seeing it.

I dont see OP "trashing" anyone and Im not seeing how a team that went 10-4 can be considered better than a team that is currently 9-3 heading into bowl season.

Right, OP could have explained a little better. It was left up to interpretation. I immediately took it to mean that a coach taking over a bad situation like ours, can have relative success depending on the moves that first year coach makes. That the first year coach shouldn’t automatically get a pass just because the situation they walked into wasn’t ideal, that an ELITE coach can transcend a program. And I wonder how many believed Mario was elite or is elite?

Lmao.

Still at it i see.

Mario failed. Its ok to admit it.

Op listed multiple coaches that made their teams better immediately. Culture is brought with good coaching. Mario is a recruiter not a coach.

So tell me about the culture when Oregon went 10-2 and made the P12CG.
