Why is that significant to OP's point?

He seems to be pointing out teams that made coaching changes for lack of performance and how they did the next season. Oregon did not fire their coach last season. Instead they replaced him and will end up with a similar record. (10-4 in 2021 and 9-3 to date in 2022).

Because the guy he's trashing did better than the guy who replaced him. Please tell me you knew this.

There's truth in here & a lot of cherry picking. I could list twice this amount that went different. USC is a great example of Mario's F up. They hit portal HARD. We should have. Washington's record benefited from their Heisman QB. What if he had been injured? TCU shows how big of an impact systems can have. Can we repeat that? Who knows. It's not all coaching though. It's a lot of factors.

Spell this out for me. Im not seeing it.

I dont see OP "trashing" anyone and Im not seeing how a team that went 10-4 can be considered better than a team that is currently 9-3 heading into bowl season.

And again, OP is comparing teams that fired their coaches, not teams where the coach voluntarily left. Please tell me YOU knew this.

Did you not read his last sentence or any of his previous posts? Of course he's blasting Mario.

Mario went 10-2 and made the P12CG.

Riley wasn’t fired at OU
Kelly wasn’t fired at ND

I don’t know of the rest but I am not going to look. But the coaches who took over for Riley and ND, shame on them, it kind of shows how awesome Riley and Kelly are.
