I know OL wasn’t the strength of Ohio St but it was still done vs a high level team/player… him beating that block on that stretch run and making the tackle was one the most impressive things I’ve seen him do. It’s a combination of every single aspect you’d want in a DE… scratch that football player.
Play recognition, pad level, power, technique, effort, finishing the rep… you name it he did it.
I said before about him that he was equally as good against the run as he is as a pass rusher. Can’t say I’d say the same for Bailey.
