Former Miami redshirt junior T Taylor Gadbois will transfer to Southeast Louisiana.

Gadbois was expected to start for Miami this season but faced a five game suspension prior to his departure. Gadbois "was a source of division in the locker room," according to ESPN's Andrea Adelson, and Joe Schad adds the offensive lineman feels comfortable with a former Miami coach on Southeast Louisiana's staff.

Good for him, got thrown under the bus for having a set of balls by a coach who doesn't.

Southeast Louisiana Lions already have an OL in the NFL.

Gadbois will be their next player drafted.

Nice work Gorlden! Get the kid outta here because he doesn't kiss ****.

Someone had to take the hit for ALF's next excuse (well, we're young at the o-line...)

We had a player in college (basketball) who was the player of the year in high school in Mass. All he did was whine and complain, take bad shots, and ***** about having to compete to start. He was gone by Christmas and we were a much better team for it. He got beat out by a JC transfer and couldn't and wouldn't accept it. Kind of the same deal here. I have to believe the Gadbois decision was agreed upon by the staff and not just the head coach.

Other than the fact that the situations are nothing alike yeah you have a point.

Gadbois didn't seem to worried about competing to start as evidenced by his comments and play beforehand. He was, at worst, our second best tackle behind McDermott. No JC transfer, I assume you mean Jones, was going to beat out Gadbois.

Was not kissing *** what got him his alleged 5-game suspension? Or was it the long-rumored PED/Drugs thing that the staff writers here appear to know about but won't touch? The "having balls" and "not kissing ***" thing is convenient for the coaches suck stuff. If he was really gonna miss almost half the season for something that was his own fault and not a personality conflict then IDGAF about all that.

To golden's credit, he has shown an ability to bring in some "at risk" type kids but his (and the AD's) handling of issues with those kids has been subpar IMO.

Best of luck to Taylor Gadbois. He is a Cane as far as Im concerned. The kid wanted to be a Cane and took the longer, harder route to achieving that goal (prep skool). What happened to him in the end seems, in part, beyond his control.

I hope he does well and makes it to the league. Not to rub pyrite's nose in it but because he's a Cane by mentality.

GOOD LUCK YOUNG MR. GADBOIS!!

Don't think he was comparing situations other than the fact that each player, while talented, was a detriment to the team they were on

That variable falls short in this application because of the lack of winning culture in an al golden run program. We saw the elite kids quit on golden last season. Now we're seeing one of the toughest competitors on the roster being dismissed for not falling in line with golden's PC team culture.

Nah, Darling's better also. McDermott and Darling could have easily taken both tackle spots from him.

Exactly.

Not at all. Gadbois was a better tackle than both and I would say better than Darling by a significant distance. Other than the Louisville game when the whole line got torched Gadbois played pretty well before he got hurt. McDermott showed flashes but was still a true freshman and Darling was clearly behind footwork wise.

Gadbois was better. Give Darling a year or so he probably passes him eventually but at this juncture the gap favoring Gadbois is pretty large.

I didn't interpret it that way but assuming he did I will stand corrected.

...as you ignore the fact that he had a 5 game suspension awaiting him.
