Fighting a losing battle here, NY. It's not a UM problem, it's a City of Miami problem. We're a bandwagon city -- we might not have fanatical fan like these college towns, but our ceiling for expose is much much higher. All of south Florida will jump on-board once we start winning. That's a huge mass of people and that includes major media coverage.
 
Entire student section was chanting for Collins and Thomas last year at the Duke game. That ended well. Also, please stop it with the "be like other fanbases" crap. Every fanbase is the same.
 
Seriously though this thread doesnt mean **** about Missouri getting Ross. Last I read it was a UGA/UM battle and UM had a great chance from everybody that has read about Ross and even the haters can admit that. THis doesnt mean anything

Well Mizzou did lose, so maybe he also got a first-hand taste of how sucky Mizzou fans can be after a loss.
 
oh yeah. How about we are 6-0 and sony michael comes to visit and the stadium is 75% empty??? then he goes to georgia it's filled to capacity.

Alex Collins got taken advantage of, stop bringing him up. that was a unique situation.
 
I don't think 2 kids were treated like bigger rock stars than Matthew Thomas and Alex Collins were at the Duke bball game last year.
