Tate on "personal leave".

Dont know whats going on with the kid but Good luck and I hope he gets it together. Unfortunately, I have little faith that the people above him who are pulling the strings (not just talking coaches) are the ones who also should be looking in the mirror are doing so. Oh, in baseball, if you hit ,333 ( which means you f@ck up 2/3rds of your at bats) for 20 years, you’re hall of fame material. Carry on.

When this kid gets to the right program that runs a modern spread offense and he can play and use all his skills .... it will be scary to watch how good he will be...... then the squirrels who keep saying "he can't throw" will wish he was back at Miami.
Yup. Heisman voting finisher when he transfers. Calling it out. This board is gonna have a break down when they see what we've been holding back.

When Rozier was stinking it up Perry was the second coming sitting on the bench and wondering wtf is Richt doing?

Then when Perry starts and stinks it up, we ask why Jarren is getting a raw deal?

Then Jarren wins the job after hard fought Spring and Fall camps over Perry and Martell with much fan jubilation, but now Martell got a raw deal and is a Heisman candidate in waiting after Jarren goes through rookie growing pains.

Anyone see a pattern or is it just me?

Look at the guys Culture King Manny brought in: Tate, Hill and brings back JT4. Now who are the biggest cancers on the team?

Tate I was OK with, didn't see a pattern. Hill, I believed at his word it was a one time thing.

Said this before, I wondered how we were going to have the TNM bringing back what appeared to most to be the poster child of what was wrong in the locker room last year. Even if he was a model citizen this season, he still wasn't doing much. And, the staff ended up having to sit him for two games, anyway.

Quick story; We had a kid from my old HS that Dabo recruited - the kid won the 100 meters as a junior (quit track his senior season), broke Florida's TD record as a senior ( 2 1/2 years at RB. If they would have played him the 2nd half of games no one would have caught him). He was Sporting News HS athlete of the year. Now the kid had some issues that were a little beyond his control. But, first touch for Clemson, he scores a 75Yd TD, gets 57 rushes that season and has 6.0 yd per carry to lead the team as a true freshman. Breaks team rules the night before he was going to get his first start at a Bowl Game. Gets 2nd chance. Off season has academic issues. Dabo sends him on his way. Goes to JC, first touch 65 Yard TD. But after the big lights, he couldn’t adjust, washed out. Note how quick the coaches were on him for showboating. Clemson goes on to win a National Title.

You did give Burrow props as did I - but you're still missing the point. OSU coaches didn't think he was good enough. He (a 4 star Ohio kid) didn't start over Barrett (a 4 star Texas kid) and didn't start over Haskins (a 4 star Maryland kid)......yet he will most likely be drafted higher than either one after leaving the program. Even in his first year at LSU, people thought he was @ss. I was not one of them. I liked what i saw in spring at OSU and thought he had a nice skillset to be a good player and wanted him to transfer here. I just didn't expect this good. Plus there's just as many NFL receivers at OSU as there are at LSU.

All i'm saying is until a guy gets a CHANCE on the field in a game situation, you don't know what you have. Some guys are practice players. Some guys are gamers. Martel might have failed miserably. Some of his practice throws were not good. But it's not like the guy has a history of throwing ducks in games in HS or at OSU in garbage time. Did Enos ***** that up too? Maybe he would have been able to throw enough to keep teams honest and use his legs to get first downs behind a porous Oline. Nobody here has a clue. It's the same conversation about GR15 not starting for weeks, Ivey starting over Blades, Burns/Lingard getting no burn early, even with Deejay hurt and Cam gassed against GT.

PSU c'mon man! Burrow and Martel are totally different players, Burrow can actually throw the football. Furthermore, practices and scrimmages are proving grounds and can't be easily dismissed. This notion that Martel should be given a chance in a game despite evidence in practice or scrimmages to the contrary.

Martel's defenders mistakenly liken his situation to Greg Rosseau's and they're not the same. GR was actually outplaying Patchan "In Live Games" with limited opportunities. Martel hasn't outplayed anyone, anywhere since he came to UM.

My biggest issue with TM is leaving the team twice this season for alleged "Personal Issues" but finds time for instagram appearances, you can not do that as a QB and ya'll know that. Couple that with reports that JW skipped practice and threatened to transfer for the second time when Kosi replaced him in the lineup for performance. I'm done with both these babies and will continue to wait for a real leader to step forward to lead UM.
