Tate on "personal leave".

I gave Burrow his props by saying he's head and shoulders above TM as a passer. Looks like Fields traded up. TM is looking for his 3rd taker on the low. What's up with the inferences dude? My point is why are posters acting like TM is the second coming of Tom Brady. He is limited in his ability as a passer at this point in his development.

Let me address your last statement about Burrow draft status. If Joe Burrow were at UM instead of LSU he would be a mid to late round pick at best. That's the impact of playing with NFL talent, not taking anything away from JB. Just lets you know it makes a huge difference when you're throwing and handing off to NFL prospects.

You did give Burrow props as did I - but you're still missing the point. OSU coaches didn't think he was good enough. He (a 4 star Ohio kid) didn't start over Barrett (a 4 star Texas kid) and didn't start over Haskins (a 4 star Maryland kid)......yet he will most likely be drafted higher than either one after leaving the program. Even in his first year at LSU, people thought he was @ss. I was not one of them. I liked what i saw in spring at OSU and thought he had a nice skillset to be a good player and wanted him to transfer here. I just didn't expect this good. Plus there's just as many NFL receivers at OSU as there are at LSU.

All i'm saying is until a guy gets a CHANCE on the field in a game situation, you don't know what you have. Some guys are practice players. Some guys are gamers. Martel might have failed miserably. Some of his practice throws were not good. But it's not like the guy has a history of throwing ducks in games in HS or at OSU in garbage time. Did Enos ***** that up too? Maybe he would have been able to throw enough to keep teams honest and use his legs to get first downs behind a porous Oline. Nobody here has a clue. It's the same conversation about GR15 not starting for weeks, Ivey starting over Blades, Burns/Lingard getting no burn early, even with Deejay hurt and Cam gassed against GT.

These retards still believe diaz plays the best players. Hahaha

Tate would not have lost to gt or fiu.

I honestly hope he goes to another school.
you aren't the first person i have talked to or read something they wrote about the best thing for Martell is to go somewhere
else. anyone who has watched any film on Martell in actual games would never say "he sucks".... thats just stupid

Tate is NOT a prostyle qb. These morons think we want him to be a drop back passer. Lol

When this kid gets to the right program that runs a modern spread offense and he can play and use all his skills .... it will be scary to watch how good he will be...... then the squirrels who keep saying "he can't throw" will wish he was back at Miami.

They "gave Him a chance" in the Spring & Summer, He sucked, get over it, it's over.
Exactly I'm tired of hearing that somehow he was done wrong.

They bent over backwards to give him the starting position. He sucked so bad that they couldn't even list him as number two. He sucked so bad he agreed to move to receiver.

Transferring from two schools and y'all think he's going to win the Heisman at the third school? Lmao ok

It’s why employees leave companies

You have a mid level manager in Enos that sucks st his job, doesn’t implement the right system for the talent in hand, doesn’t conduct a fair and open competition, so employees/players whatever you call them leave

exactly ..... great analogy

Lol with all the **** we went through this year. Should have just spread it out and put Tate in. If we are going to lose I want to at least score some **** points doing it. The play calling is just as predictable with Enos. We would have a better record this year under Richts 3 plays on O.

Everyone on this board wants Enos gone. We all agree his scheme is ****, his playcalling is ****, and he's just a **** OC and QB coach in general.

Despite all that, the one thing he unquestionably got right was his personnel decisions at the QB position. No way in **** he got that one wrong, right? Same staff that had Patchan starting over Rousseau but Enos is the one coach on staff immune to making **** evaluations apparently. Half you mother ****ers won't dare question that because for some unspeakable reason when it comes to Tate, you just dont like the kid, and it's got nothing to do with what hes done on the field because he hasn't thrown a single pass for us all year.

Jarren can tank against VT and lose to FIU, Kosi can continue to be Kosi and not grasp the job each time hes given an opportunity, and combined they couldn't beat GT, but the one kid on the roster who undoubtedly sucks despite not throwing a single pass all season is Tate, because Dan Enos said so.

K.

"Modern spread offense"?

LOL, there's not an offense in the world that can accommodate a noodle armed, inaccurate, QB.

OSU runs a spread and He did no better than QB2, and the only reason He was QB2 is because Burrow transferred.

Give him a shot at Duke. At least a series. Its not like he can ruin the season.

For what it’s worth I ran into his mom at a game this year. Talked for half a minute waiting for a beer and when he announced to come here they were told Graham Harell was going to be the OC/QB coach.
Wow. Never heard this before.
