Tate Martell

Why is Tate not seeing the field at QB at all? It's not like we're killing it at QB to not give him a chance. This is very frustrating too me and I honest can't see any reason why he doesn't get a chance
Because it makes sense, so the coaches obviously won't do it. If you have a thought that goes something like "I bet if the coaches did (blah), that would really help" you can be assured it won't happen

Miami needs to get back to playing “backyard football”. This offense Enos has them running makes the players think too much instead of just going out there and balling. Had Manny made the right OC hire and brought in a spread system like we should be running, Tate would be our starting QB. Miami should be a team that is a run first, no huddle, spread offense. If Manny was honest about having an offense that mirrors the defense we would be running the veer and shoot. Probably the most aggressive offense there is. It’s a known fact that the west coast passing scheme is one of the more conservative offenses there is.

The only way Manny makes it out of this alive is if he can sell something for next year. Nobody's buying Jarren or Perry at this point. If Tate goes out there and plays with fire and wins some games you can sell that to recruits and fans.

Perry and Williams are not leaders. They're as bland as plain toast and their stats reflect that. Maybe Tate sucks but to never even try, given that you're already at rock bottom, would be moronic. Perry can barely throw for 200 a game and Williams has the ball stuck to his hand with glue. Running QB's in college are the great equalizer for crappy teams. Miami's been victimized for decades on that.

It makes sense for the simple fact that our line can't hold a block for more than half a second. If the QB is constantly running for his life anyway, it may as well be the most athletic one.
