You have to think the Cartel crew believes they are getting the waiver.
They already announced he has a lawyer working it and his family has money. If he really could have graduated in May and come in as a grad transfer I don't think he takes this risk of the waiver unless his lawyer thinks its a wrap. Kid has been riding pine for two years now, he has to be foaming at the mouth to get going. I don't think they are taking a shot in the dark with the waiver when he could have gone the grad transfer route. This leads me to believe he'll be playing this year. Enrolling now and participating in spring isn't worth risking not being able to play until 2020 unless they know they're good.

This may be a dumb question, but can he attain enough credits at Miami to graduate and then be eligible to play right away? Or do all of his credits have to be from the same school?
He's transferring in as a non graduate so it wouldn't make any difference if he graduates at UM in May.

That looks like someone took Dusty Rhodes' head and microwaved it.

That’s actually an interesting thought.
I thought about this the other day but forgot to mention it then and with so many thread and posts, wasn't sure if it had been brought up. I'm not very well versed in the transfer rules, but 99 times out of 100, someone here on CIS has answers.

Holy **** I hope that’s sarcasm, mine was.
Flew right over my head! But my question was serious because I'm just no very well versed in the transfer rules. My guess (and I hate to guess) is there must be a provision against it.
