What are the chances the NCAA takes a look at amending the targeting rule in the offseason. The amount of players getting kicked out of games is out of control and much too arbitrary.

Don't like all the targeting calls this year either, but M Jax was 100% warranted. I don't think he did it maliciously, but it was the exact type of hit they are trying to remove from the game, whether you like that or not.

You should get a warning. If it's a players first time don't eject them unless it's blatantly obvious he was trying to hurt them.

That targeting call on Michael Jackson was fckn bs WOAT... he never left his feet and clearly pulled up when the receiver was falling towards him what is he suppose to do on that play just stand there and watch??

ACC refs are a fckn disgrace to college football

I would like to think they would review the ejection component but I doubt it. Ejecting these kids who bust their *** year round to play 12 games for non malicious contact is absurd and unfair.

I don’t know what MJ was supposed to do there. The guy was going down and falling into him.

The ejection part has to go. It was always stupid to eject.

Only eject the defender if it’s malicious spearing with the helmet type hit. Where the defender launches himself.

Too many ticky-tack close calls that do not warrant ejection. I can accept a PF on MJ but not ejection.

Agree. I would be in favor of a two tiered system with Targeting 1 and Targeting 2 penalties similar to flagrant fouls in basketball.

The face mask penalties that happened to our players deserved ejection but none of our targeting calls were nearly as malicious.

That targeting call on Jackson was pure horse ****. You could see that Jackson was trying to pull back.
