Green Light:

OL. Mostly ate up a good, if young, SEC line. Consistently got a push and the pass blocking was solid.

DL. Mesidore makes a big difference.

Entire defense. Did more than enough to win. Tackling was WAY better than I have seen in several years.

DJ Ivey. Played well. That’s it.

Yellow Light:

TVD. Yea, you don’t trust the WRs. Threw some ducks in the first half. Processing is taking too long — Also game 3 in a very different offense.

Borregales. Starting to make me nervous

Gattis. Between the 20’s… no issue. Red zone play calling was rough.

Red Light:

WRs. TVD wasn’t great but this was a **** poor effort. Not a single NFL player here. On a good UM team maybe K Smiff and George are on the two deep.

Stevenson. Can’t make that play. Changed the game.

Takeaway: It is the talent deficit. Where are the blue chip game changers. Georgia, OSU, Bama have four or five 1st rounders in their upperclassmen each year . We have 4 or 5 guys who are going to make NFL rosters in Our upper class. The Washington twins for example are simply on a different athletic level than what we have.

On the plus side: Mirabal is doing a really nice job. We had the better lines tonight. Kevin Steele is still pretty **** good.
