TAMU OL Not Worried About Bain, They Will Handle Him

I don't really care what tape he's watched or hasn't watched. And I don't really care about the nonsense he's spouting to the press either. It's all going to play out on the field where it matters, after all.

Funny, we're supposed to be the Miami thugs and they're the ones over there talking **** while our guys are all class. Saw Francis talking up their DE & giving nothing but respect. I can tell you right now, this is Bain's "proper" way of saying he's gonna let his play do the talking and destroy this OL on Saturday. I think they poked the worst bear imaginable.

This is a hilarious response. First, from the smile you can see Bain was holding back. Second, he used the southern phrase for calling someone an idiot, almost. He said “god bless those guys”. What he probably meant to say was “bless their hearts”. Anytime someone says that in the south it means they are about to follow it with an insult.

Trey Zuhn is a good prospect, but not a single DE he has played this season comes close to Bain. If we are just talkin about straight mano a mano our lines win on both sides. Their DL is one dimensional excel at rushing the passer and stunts/blitzes. Our OL is not only the best they will face all season, but the tight splits will slow down their stunts and blitzes. Our DL is not one dimensional and will be by far their OL’s hardest test.

Coaching can have a big factor in minimizing the mano a mano matchup. Scheme is important, we will see which staff prepares their team the best.
