I'm assuming Duke Johnson and Ereck Flowers are gone:

QB:
Brad Kaaya, Malik Rosier, Dwayne Lawson

RB:
Joe Yearby, Gus Edwards, Trayone Gray, anyone of the 3 stud freshmen coming in

FB:
Walter Tucker

WR:
Herb Waters, Malcolm Lewis

WR:
Stacy Coley, Rashawn Scott

Slot:
Braxton Berrios

TE:
Standish Dobard, Jake O'Donnell, Chris Herndon or David Njoku

LT:
Kc McDermott, Tyree St. Louis

LG:
Nick Linder, Hunter Wells

C:
Alex Gall, Hunter Knighton

RG:
Danny Isidora, Joe Brown

RT:
Taylor Gadbois, Trevor Darling

On offense:
-QB is great so long as Kaaya doesn't go down.
-RB is insane (water is wet).
-WR is more than solid, so long as Coley gets back into gear.
-TE is a ? since none of the returning guys have been thrown to much as of yet.
-OL will probably take a step back, although Linder entrenching himself already is a big plus. No idea if Brown and Grimsley are even real people as of yet.

NT:
Calvin Heurtelou, Michael Wyche, Earl Moore

DT:
Ufomba Kamalu, Courtel Jenkins, Anthony Moten

DE:
Chad Thomas, Jelani Hamilton, Richard McIntosh

RE:
Tyriq McCord, Al-Quadin Muhammad, Trent Harris, Demetrius Jackson or Mike Smith

Will:
Jermaine Grace, Terry McCray

Mike:
Raphael Kirby, Juwon Young

Sam:
Darrion Owens, Charles Perry

CB:
Artie Burns, Corn Elder

Nickel:
Antonio Crawford

SS:
Deon Bush, Jamal Carter, Marques Gayot

FS:
Rayshawn Jenkins, Dallas Crawford, Jaquan Johnson

CB:
Tracy Howard, Ryan Mayes

On defense:
-No idea what I'm talking about, so feel free to tell me how stupid I am if I have guys in the wrong position.
-DL doesn't look like it will be much better/worse next season other than the fact that AQM will potentially be back.
-LB is going to miss Denzel (water is STILL wet). I assume Kirby will take over inside since Young hasn't shown much as of yet.
-CB won't be much different. Gunter is a solid player but it's hardly a debilitating loss.
-S looks good on paper, but it looked good on paper last summer too. Jenkins being back, and maybe even Johnson blowing up as a freshman, makes this unit better.

Linebacker is scary bad depth wise and so far on the recruiting front. Need to hold onto perry and i like gordinier but still need to add pieces and preferably someone that can play right away ala darrion owens. Need to add CB's badly as well on defense. Offense is pretty set to go as long as kaaya continues to develop. Could use tight end help but with the ammount of wr's we are recruiting maybe we are planning on running a spread for all i know lol.

Don't see Jenkins playing 3-4 DE. Think it will be a 3 way battle at NT between Heurt, Jenkins, Wyche. Kamalu and Moten will occupy the one spot. Thomas and who knows at the other. We run this system but don't recruit 3-4 DEs.

All that pass rush potential between Thomas, McCord, AQM, Harris, Jackson and we will find a way to keep that speed off the field. Unfortunately, Thomas isn't going to be the disruptive force he should be. These guys should all be good pash rushers, they won't get more then 10-15 between them all.

Looking at the this makes me even more baffled at some of our recruiting decisions.

Where is the urgency to get young CBs and LBs into the program. Our LB depth is downright scary.

Looking at our style of D and then looking at the depth chart just angers me beyond belief.

That's another 8-4 or 9-3 team.

We need some young players to step up big time, as well as some of the incoming freshmen to make an impact right away.

Depth at LB/CB/DL is concerning (which may be due to kids not wanting to come and play under our current system).

This staff has a lot of work to do.

This. Esto. +1, u get the point. We need more LBs and quality ones at that. CB too.

It shouldn't be a 8-4 or 9-3 team. The schedule next year should be easy pickings.

The offense should be **** near elite. And the defense should be good enough to not be afraid of opposing offenses.

Good effort. Everything seems about right. A few things I'll add.....

I don't see Jenkins moving from the NT spot. I'm not sure he has the athleticism needed to play the position Kamalu plays but what the **** do I know.

Also unless Jelani somehow just magically puts it all together this offseason I seriously doubt he will be Chad's primary backup. Unless we grab a Juco for that spot we are most likely looking at 2 true freshman in Patchan and McIntosh to fill that role which is scary.

Considering the amount of depth and talent we have at the Jack DE /OLB position and our lack of depth at the traditional LB spots I don't think we have the luxury of keeping Mike Smith on the bench behind McCord, AQM and Harris.
Smith needs to learn the SAM position IMO.

We need an infusion of CB talent in this class. We are more than fine there for the time being but we only took Mayes last year.

After seeing how badly the Safety position needs ball hawking types and Gunter having success at FS on third down maybe we give A Crawford or Burns that same opportunity next year.

Overall I love the way this defense looks on paper at least for 2015. Hopefully we get a new D coordinator to exploit all this talent. The 2015 recruiting class must address CB and continue to upgrade the depth and talent all over the front seven.

A lot of team would kill to have 2 DEs like AQM and CThomas. These guys should be creating havoc off the edge, should be 7+ sack guys each.

No DL under Golden has had more then 5 sacks, Marcus Robinson and Chick in 2011.

That is a sad, sad statistic.

A pretty damning indictment of this defensive approach.

We got a top 20 defense this year will only get better like the line not sure on the lbs like the secondary... The offense will be better kayaa having a year under his belt does that .. We are in the acc title game next year without questionn... Vegas over under on wins is atleast 9.. 9.5... Trending up with no more cloud

A sack occurs BEHIND the LOS. Our guys are not allowed on that side of scrimmage unless dragged there by oline.

Its really hard for me to blame the LB depth completely on the staff. We have had some real a$$holes playing their lately. (meaning: Blue, Figs, EJohnson, GTerry) Losing GPaul didnt help either. Thats 5 players that would be on that depth chart. And yes, I know that Al recruited them so its partly his fault..But ****. Those losses destroyed that depth.

There is alot of raw talent at that Jack position.

Not really concerned about DB depth next year..Its the year after that should have us extremely worried. Good thing is that we can sell VERY early playing time to recruits and they will know we are not BSing them. How ironic that this the deepest crop of DB recruits in SoFla in probably 20 years (1993 was deep as well) and we have NONE committed at the moment and we are slow playing 3 others. (Huggins, Fenton, Redwine) . Smh.

Oline depth worries me but not overal talent. I expect guys like Flowers, Gadbois, KC, Linder, and Isodira to come back next year better then ever. Gall and Darling are the ones who need to step up. I have all but given up on Sonny. I think Tyree St Louis will take his PT.

If Flowers and Duke return next year this offense would be incredible.

Kaaya/Rosier/Lawson/ Sr transfer from somewhere
Kaaya is one of the top Fr QB's in the country.

Duke/Yearby/Edwards/Scarlett/Walton/Williams
- would be great depth at RB that we haven't had in 10 years.

Waters/Coley/Scott/Berrios/Lewis
That is a stacked WR group - we have more that need to continue to develop.

Flowers/McDermott/Milo
Gall/Linder
Linder/Knighton
Isidora/Darling
Gadbois/Darling/Odogwu

Plus 5 more recruits - we would have some depth that we haven't had.
I think Linder will be a stud at C and an upgrade over McDermott.

Thomas/Kamalu/
Herteulou/Jenkins/Wyche
Kamalu/Moten
AQM/McCord/Jackson

D-Line has some young potential with CT, Moten, Jenkins, AQM,
McCord, Jackson: But Depth and scheme are still questionable.

Owens/McCord/Smith
Kirby/Young
Grace/McCray

There is some talent, but depth is not good here.
Blue, Figs, Paul, Terry being gone has crippled this unit.

Burns/Howard/Elder/Crawford
are a good top 4, but there's a drop off. This is a critical
Position for this years class.

Bush/Jenkins/Carter/Crawford/Gayot
Good depth here - need them to become playmakers!!!
We will miss Kiy Hester, he had unlimited upside.
Enter Jacquan Johnson - this kid is a winner.

We need our ST to improve coverage and returns. I'm ok with
the kickers.

We need to replace the following coaches - DNO, Jethro, Williams
Their units have not progressed and they are bottom tier recruiters.

Depth on defense is bad period. LB is on this staff though. Say what you want about players getting kicked off the team, but this staff knows you can't just rid yourselves of that many players at one position without replacements for those players. You can't kick a guy off for team rule violating, weed possession, being too small, rape(x2) and then not ramp up the LB recruiting AT ALL.

Combine that with the fact that more than half of the time you want you linebackers dropping back into coverage and not attacking on most downs, turning off LB recruits and you have a HUGE void at that position, which is where we will find ourselves in 2016 if not 2015 barring injuries. Now you are asking true sophs to know a defense inside and out when it takes your most mature players 3-4 years(DP, Armbrister, Chick, etc...)

Correction: He is the top True Freshmen QB in the country.

With the return of AQM and the departure of Armbrister I think you move McCord to the SAM.
