i've learned my lesson ... his talent is there ... he's just not ready for primetime right now ... i think his trajectory will be similar to samson, the question is does he stay like samson did ...

We had guys that allowed Samson to develop.. Where are the guys who allow this guy to make mistakes in practice and not in games jeopardizing our 6 milli + QB? You cant have 4 different guys ******* up every other play on oline, wtf is going on out there?! lol

worry about our oline play? well we have generational talent at the skill positions ... comes down to if we can block it up ... similar to sam, sj was a big time recruit that has high expectations but isn't quite ready to live up to them ...

following guys that were atypical in cooper (started as redshirt frosh), mauigoa, markel bell ... your a level headed guy, they're some saying he's unplayable, i disagree with those guys ... however i don't think he's a starter
 
It's sad when walk on TE #44 was mauling people at the 2nd level and SJ can't figure out he's actually out there to block guys. You do actually have a job other than stomping down the sod.

He should be benched permanently and Congdon, McCoy, or McCoy need to start at the other G opposite Max. Every rep he takes is a wasted learning opportunity for Cantwell and Congdon. Play the high ceiling guys so they will be ready for the playoffs.

We can't win a championship with SJ at G.

If you're a UM football player and you don't have a nickname for being the "worst" ala Dan Crossland ("Crossbar"), the best ala Malcachi "Baby J" or both like Jacory Harris ("Tan Marino" or "Noodle Arm"), then you are doing something wrong.
These Hot Takes are something.
One game and SJ is unplayable, all our CBs blow, Damon Wilson is fat and that new RB from West Boca is a "bust".
We got too many Bobby Beathards and Ozzie Newsomes here....lol

I'm old enough to remember OLine that were patchwork group of players who eventually became productive.
 
The whiff that everyone keeps freaking out about is a miscommunication between him and Rodriguez. He’s expecting help from the center and when the dt crosses his face, it’s not there resulting in a free runner. Did they make a call or not? Unsure but his footwork there tells me he was expecting a double team.
