  3. Troy Dannen, Nebraska AD (B1G)
  4. Mark Dantonio, Michigan State, retired coach, South Carolina alum (B1G/SEC)
  5. Mark Harlan, Utah AD, Arizona alum (Big XII)
  6. Jeff Long, Kansas/Arkansas retired AD (Big XII/SEC)
  7. Ivan Maisel, media has been (Stanford alum from Mobile)
  8. Chris Massaro, Middle Tennessee AD (G5)
  9. Mike Riley, retired Oregon State and Nebraska coach, Alabama alum
  10. David Sayler, Miami of Ohio AD (G5)
  11. Wesley Walls, Ole Miss alum, retired NFL tight end (SEC)
  12. Carla Williams, Virginia AD, All-SEC women's basketball player at UGA (ACC/SEC)
So who among these dozen folks is gonna advocate for the Miami Hurricanes to be included at the expense of a team currently ranked ahead of us? Best believe, when push comes to shove, all 12 of these people know who'll they'll be dealing with when the selection meeting is over.

Somebody finally put this up. This is one of the biggest problems, have two affiliates from each conference and call it a day. It's the only way to minimize the effects of biasness.

Will the Big Ten folks will want to stay on Notre Dame's good side?

Yes. For sure

I think it is obvious the glaring issue here. The committee should be made up of non active coaches or players evenly from each section of the CFB landscape. ACC has one representative that also has SEC ties.

So the ACC representative in that room went to uga... jfc

Best believe she's looking to get her school out of the ACC and into the SEC (most likely) or B1G as soon as possible.

She ain't about to rock the boat by pushing back against the inclusion of Bama (should they lose the SEC championship game) or OU in favor the Canes.

Non active coach and former players have biases also. It would better to have a 12 team playoff and let the computer pick.

We need Saban to keep blowing the horn on Miami being the most dangerous team. His voice carries weight.

Saban's in bed with Sankey. He's trying to get his WVU Mountaineers in the SEC.

He ain't about to use his clout to help a former assistant if it means knocking one of Sankey's teams out the playoffs

Yeah, most ADs aren’t football people and more money minded people.

Rather the committee be full of national media types like Josh Pates and even Pat McAfee, people who know the game AND would be accountable for their decisions and defend them on their shows.

This committee answers a couple softball questions from the main media partner and they can’t even answer those well.

All of them, including the ACC rep, know the ACC is a dead-conference walking and aren’t going to advocate on its behalf in any way, shape or form.

Yeah I dont think Jesus Christ returning and telling Sankey to add WVU would be enough lol. Not happening

Back in the day, we had to worry about the NCAA and thier biases. Now we have to worry about the college football playoff committee and their biases……

Simple solution is for each of the 4 major conferences & P5 to select two representatives. Spoke with a rep who served on last year’s committee. Nice guy & meant well, but he struggled with the process.

Yes. For sure

Where is ND going? The Pac-10??

I think the committee willingly bends over and takes it in the @ss for ND, (with a reach around) …. but not sure keeping the Big10 in good graces is a thing. It’s the only place they would go
