There must be some metric that measures the effectiveness of the team putting the ball carrier on the ground. It seems to me that we were not particularly great at locking up and securing the ball carrier. Teams that play good to great defense usually are good at this. I don’t believe that it is athletic ability, because we have plenty of athletes on defense.

Am I just being picky, or am I seeing this correctly? Seems to me, but if we got better at tackling, some of these plays would not have happened against us.
