Apparently he was a decent recruiter as well he landed 5 star linebacker Owen Papoe a few years ago and seemed to be able to pull kids from talent rich Gwinnet County in Georgia. And the kids at Auburn seemed to really like him in fact some of the players tweeted that they wanted him to be retained.
