Mid Atlantic is wide open in recruiting. That’s what he needs to guy the hardest. Especially without a dominant team in VA, NC, MD, NJ.

I’d go hard after the 757 kids, 804 kids, Northern VA kids and obviously thr DMV and Baltimore. Throw some underrated kids from NJ and NY state in that list as well,

But he’s from the DMV so I expect him to connect with the kids from there. There is talent in that área. But if you look at recruiting by state and click MD, DC, or VA none of those kids really stay nearby.....top rated ones anyway.

So I agree they going to have to drop B1G TV contract bags. Otherwise routine 8 win seasons there lands him a job at a better program.

Losing their QB and who knows who else from last year off the top of my head, there was gonna be definite regression for Cuse...but to get blown out like that? Oof..

Very few teams compare to Clemson though. Syracuse shouldn't have been ranked. Virginia and Boston College should be. We could be ranked too if we put on a show tonight.

First because they’re not the second best team. Like others have mentioned, it’s all based on PY performance and projections. Additionally the ACC is weak. Outside of Clemson, I’m not sure there is another team in the ACC worth a **** at the national level. Waiting to see what Miami has got. I’m not sure we win out the rest of the schedule, but if we lose more than one conference game ahead of a possible ACC championship we are not there yet. Not to say that we wouldn’t have made progress, but for Miami to really be a team to be worth mentioning on the national stage they need to dominate this weak schedule.

As far as second best team in the ACC, I’d say it Virginia or Miami... We’ll see.
