Syracuse (1-1) at Pitt (2-0)

The SEC owns Saturdays on ABC/ESPN.

Perfect example .. 2 games at the same time. 1 is evenly matched between two ranked ACC teams. Should be a really good game. ESPN2

1 is supposed to be a blowout between a ranked and unranked team but has Alabama playing. ABC

At this point the chips are just stacked too much against the ACC to ever make up ground. Especially when your income is dependent on viewership.
It’s all about marketing, buy-in and money. Performance is a prerequisite.

If Miami fspoo and Clemson were national powers investing money it would be different. Sprinkle in some teams cycling up every few years and you got yourself a conference that isn’t a joke.

Not that I want the holes to be good. I hope they lose every game. This conference is good to us because of the new playoff money rule. We made bank last year

Dam I was just explaining this to someone else last night but many seem completely lawst on how the ACC is a poverty conference and treated as such for a reason, that playoff money loophole has been changed. They made sure we got smaller piece of pie asap.

That CFP loophole was changed. While we were celebrating. It cannot happen again.. That gap from SEC /B1G payout just got wider..

The CFP is also ending its performance-based revenue-distribution model that saw Miami this season and Notre Dame last season each rake in $20 million in bonus money, in addition to big conference-wide payouts. Moving forward, the Big Ten and SEC will earn roughly 29% of CFP revenue each, the ACC 17%, the Big 12 15%, and the Group of 6 conferences collectively 10%.

And the ACC deserves it. One of its marquise games and neither are actual title contenders.

When is Syracuse going to stop putting up with Fran’s BS! The dude is clearly emotionally unstable. He’s a complete buffoon.

I can’t imagine it’ll be too much longer. Syracuse is actually respectable university, and he’s not representing them well.
