He's too hard on the players. You think Jimmy Johnson, Dennis Erickson, or Butch Davis would ever suspend players at the clip Richt does? There's too much discipline, random or deserved. But in this specific case, if something happens to Perry that's on him.

I'm an old school **** bro. I think he gives out the wrong type of discipline. Make an example out of a kid or 2 (send to discipline coach around 430am for a non football related activity, etc). Watch the little petty **** go away.

It’s late news. Really late.

It’s news bc recording someones communications without permission and then disclosing it amounts to two felonies in Florida. I didn’t view to know if communication s were recorded though.

But I really don’t give a **** other than Jarren and cade will compete for qb1

yeah its the kids fault perry is a **** up. perry should be booted if our coaching staff could recruit QBs

Unsure who you're implicating here regarding "recording communications." I believe there are legalities around the recording and distribution of a *** video without the consent of both parties (and I think this is relatively new -- the "**** shaming" statutes). But I don't think we have much of an idea as to the other person and their role.

I could see this resulting in legal jeopardy for Perry but also kind of doubt it at this point.

Two different issues.
Perry has no business being in this program.
The reason he remains on team, including current staff's recruiting, is irrelevant.
Nonetheless, that reporter should have his **** beaten and then tossed into the jock bin.

bc you dont like what he reported? maybe if perry didnt do what he did, the reporter wouldn't have to report a football player posting videos of him having *** with a teammates gf

The school should not have influence over what the paper publishes and it should not be the paper's responsibility to protect or ignore stories b/c they are about the football team. Now I dont think they should be on some vendetta looking for issues either, but there doesnt seem to be some rash of stories reporting on every little thing a football player has done wrong.

We should be upset with Perry for doing it as opposed to the paper for publishing it.

There should have been multiple stories and columns by the Hurricane, as soon as they became aware of the story and as information developed.

We can't have a college-town mentality of hushing and denying any negative news regarding the football team, if we don't have an on-campus stadium in the first place.

When 3 of the 4 are ******* up often... maybe it’s the guy that recruited and coaches them. The only one that hasn’t caused problems is the one he didn’t recruit too...

The *** video thing has to do w consent too but cyber bullying is a misdemeanor (I think). That’s the new revenge **** law in Florida.

I was concerned w sec. 934.03 fla. stat. Bc it is a felony to electronically record another person’s communications without their consent in Florida. It is also a felony to disclose those communications.

You are correct to doubt it would lead to a charge bc the girl would have to be identified in order to prove she didn’t consent to the recording.
