At least to me.....

No Miami Hurricanes QB has ever thrown 30 TDs in a season!!!! I had no idea and this was shocking to me. The record is 29 Pass TDs in the 1988 season by Steve Walsh.

I know @DMoney has mentioned this lately but the UM record for most passing yards in a season is 3,642 yards set in 1984 by Bernie Kosar. I was surprised that this record has been standing for nearly 40 years. Would be nice for Cam Ward to break both of these single season passing records this season.

With Xavier Restrepo taking aim at the career receptions record as well as the career receiving yards record this year I thought it would be interesting to pose the following question..........

Based on this WRs standing in the career receptions list, the career yardage list and where he stands on the career receiving TDs list who would you say is the most criminally underrated WR in Miami Hurricanes history? The answer is clear. This WR had an absolutely stellar career at UM but he is rarely mentioned when the subject of our all time great WRs comes up. Maybe it's because he never won a Championship. Who knows the answer? I'll give the answer in this thread if nobody beats me to it.

If it is a recent WR. I'd say either T. Benjamin or B. Barrios. Love both their games. They had cups of coffee in the NFL. Benjamin more so than Braxton.

It’s crazy how old a lot of UM’s offensive records are when the game has become so much more offense friendly over the years. ****, they used to only play 11 regular season games and bowl game stats didn’t count.

Decades of outdated offensive philosophies turned one of the most innovative programs into one of the most conservative. Kosar and Walsh were great quarterbacks but how many great schools have 40 year old passing records?
