I don't know her. But I expect she was being sarcastic and critical of the CFP selection committee's bias. ... But to your point, even if the committee wants to put Bama in over us and/or ND, how can you possibly justify it after the beating they took just now. The 3-TD win was deceptive. UGA manhandled the TIde. That one score was all penalties. The stats show a team the couldn't do a thing on offense. They are not a top 12 team.

I'll add to that. That 4 game win streak over 4 ranked teams doesn't look so good when you actually dig into the records of those 4 teams. Three of them, at least. Who the **** has Vandy, Tennessee, and Missouri beaten to deserve being ranked?

I’ve changed my stance on this. I get you don’t want to penalize a team for losing in the conference championship.

But Bama was already barely in the playoffs so does that mean they could’ve played their third string and get blown out by 50 and still be guaranteed in the playoffs?

Are we creating championship immunity? If that’s the case, I’d play my key players for a half and get ready for the playoffs since the score and how I looked in the championship game doesn’t matter.

When did this whole you don’t get penalized for playing in conference championship games start? Seem to remember a 12-0 UGA losing the SECCG a couple years ago and ended up playing FSU in the Orange bowl while a bad Bama team went to the playoffs.
