Have you just started watching? Derias hasn’t given up more than 6 hits in any start other than that one and lumpkin has had starts where he couldn’t get out the first inning against FIU. Derias is the more dependable starter. Lumpkin won’t give you 4 innings no matter what.

I also think the pitch calling was atrocious. They were having him throw 5-5 fastballs in a row. I was screaming at the tv. His fastball was hitting 95 but he was missing his spots and getting it up. Plus most of the hits were basic hits to rf. That was a freak happenstance.

I blame our midweek record and us not hosting right now on lumpkin.

Derias wasn’t built for Hattiesburg environment

Derias hasn’t gone more than 5.1 innings all season??? And you want to call that dependable??

Gave up 7 runs to Viriginia In 3.1 innings

Game 3 should be by committee, don’t put words in my mouth about Lumpkin either, I’m not here to vouch for him

Peralta should never bat again, yikes he is an absolute disaster at the plate. That is a change he must make if he's a good coach.

College baseball is great because you are almost never out of a game. Aluminum bats plus ****** bullpens (other than teams like Tennessee and LSU) means you can put up a crooked number at any time.

Really looking forward to an Omaha run

If you are attending this weekend. Sections 211-213 are the Canes sections. If you're going to buy tickets, buy them there, and let's make those cane sections rowdy!!!!!!!!!

DeRias hasn't been. Might be late season freshman arm fatigue. I would try to get 3 to 4 out of Lumpkin. Then go to Smith or DeRias. If Smith's slider is money again. then we will be in good shape. We need deep starts out from Ciscar and Hugus obviously.
 
I am in Italy and cannot access my YouTube TV, including via the WatchESPN app. Anybody got a suggestion on how to watch here?
