SUPER REGIONAL GAME TIMES: Fri at 12, Sat at 12 and Sun at 12 (if necessary)

What a f*cking joke.

At the risk of saying something positive on this board- I'll take the combination of these less than ideal game times+a less than **** name opponent but one who is a 4 seed we very much should beat over the alternative. Sure we could play at 7pm every night against LSU/FSU etc. but that would exponentially lessen our Omaha chances. Not saying we should be scared of competition, and will hopefully get to play all the big boys once we make the dance, but back to my take here- gimme noon, 9am, 3am....whatever, let's just win 2 and get back where we belong, and VCU compared to about every other potential Super opponent is one I am more than okay with

Least attractive matchup of the super regionals so not surprised. I have to get my sunscreen on!

With 12PM you get the heat and at 7PM you get the shadows. I would prefer somewhere around 4PM but that's just me. I am sure we figured VCU would not be so acclimated to the heat but I'll tell you what. It's been scorching hot lately up here in VA.

Did they leave the scheduling up to Chumley? Glad we won't be having any back-to-back night games, that could affect us.

Actually think the start time (while not ideal for fan support) is a huge advantage. Unless you live in South Florida you have no idea what it's like playing 3 days in a row at noon in that heat. VCU players will be totally spent midway through Saturday game.

Any Canes fan who go to football games is a veteran of the Donna Shalala Noon Game!

You play at noon, because you haven't been relevent. Makes perfect sense.

I guarantee if we beat VCU, and go to the CWS, we will NOT play at noon!

(and I guarantee you that if we have not had a last in the Coastal/losing football record since 2003, we wouldn't OWN the noon footbal home game, either)
