Super Regional Game 2: Louisville 9-6 W (1-1)

pressure is on Louisville tomorrow imo, anyone have an idea of who they’re most likely to start? Curios as to how their Bullpen is looking after today for game 3.

Louisville hasn’t been in an elimination position yet this post season except against Pitt and they folded. We answered the call answer USM. Time to see who picks up the phone.

We are the visiting team tomorrow. A 3 spot out of the gate would be huge.

Should have Lumpkin available for 3-4, DeRias for 2-3 (unless one starts and is rolling with a nice lead), Smith for 2-3, Evans could come back for 1-2, Cleveland should be good for 1-2, Ciscar should be available for 1-2, Walters could be good for 1.

I would think Hugus and Fischer are the only ones you definitely won’t see tomorrow.
No reason for anyone, other than Smith perhaps, to face the same hitter twice IMO. Have to jump on them early as visitors.

47 pitches? From a grad transfer?

That dude had better be ready to go tomorrow. Mix and match on situation and who has the ball coming out well.

Probably start Peter Michael. Solid numbers, but walks a lot of batters.

Their bullpen will be fine. No one over 25 pitches today outside of their starter.

It'll be a throw everything out there game for both teams.

I don't know what Louisville has in the bullpen. I was shocked when they let their freshman LH pitcher face Cuvet in a 1 run game after facing 2 of our LH hitters. That freshman pitcher was weak at best. Why would their coach save better bullpen arms when they had a chance to close out the series? They still have their closer, but the mid relief didn't look strong.

The Louisville coach said he would be starting their freshman 6-2 pitcher Ethan Eberle.
