Why was Tavares taking pitches? It's the easiest to hit against a side winder where the ball is coming into you from the opposite side from a left handed pitcher to a right handed batter.

I don't understand that AB at all. Clearly, he wasn't comfortable. Why? I have no idea.

Too many big bats behind him capable of doing damage. I had no problem pitching to him. The problem was the quality (lack of) on the HR pitch.

Hope our bats don’t make him sit for a while and come up with nothing.

Either score some runs or a quick 1-2-3 and get him back out there.

He looked unprepared to hit to me. Like he was eating ****, never read the scouting report and was told to go in to hit last second.

I guess it’s just a difference of opinion…I’m not letting a kid whose hitting close to .600 with 8 HR’s in the last 5 games whose already hit one out best me…but that’s my opinion.

My biggest pet peeve with JD. He seems to recruit pretty well, has the guys wanting to play hard for him, has managed a mediocre roster to a game away from Omaha.

Just seems like nothing is planned ahead or thought out in advance regarding the bullpen and pinch hit decisions. Earlier in the year it was defensive replacements in the OF early in the game and then the bat ends up needed in the 8th and 9th and we’re rolling Gaby out there instead of Galvin in a tie game.
