On another note, from those of you who were at the stadium... how does it look compared to last year.

Any significant improvements from game experience point of view? or is it just hype?

The seats were a different color and the they removed seats from the corner of the uppers. I believe they will have big screens there next year. I sit in the alumni club level. They changed the seats a bit and included a place to put your food and drinks between some of the seats. The biggest changes were cosmetic it seemed.

It is still is not meant for college football but the tailgating is always fun.

I was actually very impressed with the turnout all things considered. There was about 35+ there. Maybe 40k. When the lightening delay occurred a lot of people left. I wasn't sitting in the rain to watch them play Bethune either.

Yea I left after the lightning but most of the lower level was packed before the lightning then I check bleacher report and they're talking about the stadium was empty I swear they love putting us down lol

Pretty good turnout for Bethune especially considering the weather conditions. I expected worse tbh considering how much sh*t some of the "fans image.webp" talk on here.image.webp some pics I got from Twitter

It looked empty as **** in the stream, the seats do look closer, the blue is for the phins, we need to get out of that stadium asap

I believe once the renovations are complete, there will be no outcry for a new stadium.

Was almost 44k there. I was there for the whole thing. People left during the lightning delays but it was a good turnout.

People were still filling in at the beginning of the 2nd qtr. more than I expected for sure considering the weather conditions and playing bethune. That Nebraska game is going to be packed for sure, they travel well. Clemson too

same thing different colored seats. next year is the year to judge

Same crap just different colored seats. Was disappointed with all the hype.

Not a big stadium basher and actually c seating improvement -
The food situation is however a debacle
The food sucks ! I sampled it all ;-)
And expensive for crap quality
Then they blocked off the main walkway around the lower bowl concourse so u get rerouted to the perimeter due to the "restaurants"

I was there too. No freaking way there was 44k.

Upper 43k officially but might be skewed a bit as some don't show up.

And I didn't see much change in stadium aside from stripping the Britto art outside which makes stadium look plain now and the new seats that are teal. Next year is more of the year to judge the stadium. They still got work to do.

The official count was 47,600 or thereabouts. It was a good turnout for BC. Many left after the long rain because it kept raining a drizzle until near the end.
