Nonsense!

“Frankie, fire Flake NOW or you’re gone too.”

Aren't there rumors his contract will not be renewed? He may already be on the way out so is a lame duck. BoT can make the decision but I think it is divided and Frenk is powerless or could care less. "I'm out. It's your problem to figure out".

I used to buy two season tickets even though I live in Atlanta, come home for some games and give the other ones away, and then would travel to one or two road games a year.

I cut the road games out after LSU last year. I cut the season tickets out after Golden was given the fifth year. Next year I may go to the GT game up here but will buy tickets through GT or Stubhub if so. I also am not giving until Blake James is gone.

Same. I have 4 season tickets and I live in NY. I go down for a couple of games a year and give the others away. Have traveled to Dallas for LSU, Charlotte for the ACC champ.. Couldn't make the rescheduled UF game. I had tickets for FSU this year but gave them to my son and his friends..... Waiting to see what is going on before I renew ....

That article and this thread are circling the issue but not hitting on it. The BEST FIX for UM is to have everyone that was hired by donna shalala removed from the athletic department and given their walking papers.

I'd venture to guess THAT is the real civil war. Donna's cronies versus people who want UM football to succeed at the highest levels, be it in the AD or the BOT.
This ...

We used to travel at least once a year, even in the probation years. We went to the UCLA game where we got blown out, Washington in 2000, and App St, LSU, and the ACCCG in recent years to name a few. This season for my parents and really last off season for me was just a step too far.

I was talking to my mom about it this week and how appreciative we are for those times and growing up as a fan when I did. We had some amazing family trips and memories thanks to this program. But they are getting more and more distant. At this point I accept winning a title may be a step too far given the current recruiting climate. I just want to not look like completely inept and win 9-10 games a year that we are supposed to by default of being in the worst conference and division in college football.

I live in Atlanta now, my wife went to Georgia, and our social group/my work is largely Bama, Georgia, and Auburn fans. It is really, really difficult to continue supporting this team or plan my weekends around watching this ****. It is even more tiring to answer “what is wrong with Miami” every Saturday.

Yes (in bold).

Again, its not about politics but it bares noting that the Clinton syndicate has succeeded at the highest levels in large part because they've employed this tactic everywhere they've gone. When Bill was first sworn into office. He fired all 93 states attorney generals in his first couple weeks in office and put his people in place. Look at what Donna did after being handed the reins at UM. She went department by department and put her cronies in place. The examples are endless. If you want to be blown away, do some research on the White House Travel office "scandal" from 1993. You'll learn a lot about how hard these people play the game.

Im of the opinion that all of donna's hires within the AD should be shown the door.
AMEN

"Board of Trustee members and big boosters are beyond upset. They’re pounding tables, threatening change — and want Highsmith hired, pronto, because they don’t trust James or Diaz to succeed without help."

So - if neither can competently do their job, why in the absolute *** have they not been terminated. There is zero reason to keep them around. Spare me the this illusory barrier of "one year on the job" that protects Manny. He's been here for multiple years and has had enough influence to correct this diseased culture he talks about. **** needs to change.

So, in other words, no admission by you that "firing all the US attorneys" happens at the beginning of each new president's administration?

Which means that Clinton didn't do anything that Reagan or Bush or Trump didn't ALSO do.

Did you just not know that? Or were you intentionally trying to mislead?
Actually Trump didnt fire 93 as Clinton did, he fired 40+....Bush did not do it either. Bush kept some well into second term...are YOU uninformed or just trying to mislead?
