I’m not sure I understand the dynamic here as to why a Flake is “asked” anything.Flake is an employee who should be “told” not asked what to do.

So I’m not sure why he or Manure for that matter was “ asked “ if they wanted Zo hired of not.

The conversation should have been “ we are putting MR. Highsmith in a position of overseeing the football program and he will have full autonomy when it comes to it.

If you or your crony the football coach are not in line with this than you job will be terminated immediately and MR Highsmith will take over as full-time AD.That is you choice and your ONLY choice .

Discipline: Aside from some of high profile discipline issues, one frosted me when I saw it. The blow out against BC.

Jimmy Murphy dose that flip after he scored and got the flag. I don't care how happy you are, or it's your 1st TD; you cost your team 15 yards making it all about you. The coach shouldn't be celebrating with you, he should be breaking his foot off in yo ***.

Look at the great teams and ask yourself how that would have been looked upon by those HCs.

Go throw in Texas /Miami when you get a chance. Erickson was so **** faced he didn’t care we had 1000 yards in penalties

Blake with his blatant incompetence over these years has always had an out to keep them from paying attention to him, he could always smooth things over & they would just sit back & let him get away easy... Now, he's got nowhere to hide. The donations aren't rolling in like they normally do & the product isn't matching the bull**** he tells them, so now they're starting to question his decisions, which means they're about to start finding answers.

Blake & Manny are on their way out if we don't win this season, which is exactly why the two of them have been playing Hot potato with this Highsmith hire, both Blake & Manny are trying to pawn it off on one another as the reason why the other one doesn't want him hired, when neither one wants him here because they know as soon as Highsmith gets hired they're both on the clock to get shít canned.

Any chance they’re both fired before next season? Best to do it now rather than go thru another ***** season.

What an absolute disgrace. Everyone in a leadership position over there should be embarrassed. Either folks are performing or they aren’t. Bite the bullet and fix it now. The BOT, Frenk, James and Manny have all failed the school, student-athletes, alumni and fans.

Or you can go out and hire an AD that actually has a clue on how to run a major athletic department. Alonzo doesn't have any experience in collegiate athletics, none whatsoever. People that have found success at running multinational corporations have failed as ADs, a guy who was an NFL front office guy shouldn't be your first choice. If I'm running an NFL franchise, Alonzo would be a guy I would want, but an NFL franchise, and collegiate sports are two different things.

Miami can and should hire a top end AD, give them the tools needed to do the job and get out of the way. This isn't that complicated. Then again, odds are that Miami would hire a "Non Miami" AD(If they hired anyone worth a ****), and this fanbase would crap themselves.
